Kathmandu/ The all-electric Maxus MIFA 7 MPV was officially unveiled today at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, taking place at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The premium 7-seater electric MPV, manufactured by Chinese automotive giant SAIC Motor under its Maxus brand, marks a new era in Nepal’s electric mobility segment.
Brought to Nepal by Himalaya Motorx, the official distributor of Maxus vehicles in the country, the MIFA 7 is positioned as a high-end electric MPV catering to both luxury seekers and environmentally conscious buyers. Himalaya Motorx operates under the Himalaya Organization, which has over 30 years of experience in the Nepali automotive market.
Previously, Maxus had introduced its eTerron9 electric luxury 4WD pickup in Manang, further showcasing the brand’s commitment to rugged terrain readiness and EV expansion in Nepal.
At the expo, Himalaya Motorx announced a special introductory cash discount of NPR 10,00,000 for customers booking the MIFA 7, and NPR 500,000 discount on the eTerron9 pickup, along with additional exclusive offers. The price of the Maxus MIFA 7 has been set at NPR 1,25,00,000, while the eTerron9 double cab electric pickup is priced at NPR 1,09,99,000, confirmed Saurav Thapa, Managing Director of Himalaya Motorx.
