officially launched the Foton Tunland G7 at a grand event held at The Plaza, Pulchowk. This high-performance pickup has already created a global benchmark, becoming the first pickup in the world to conquer eight of the world’s most difficult terrains in just 23 days, covering over 15,000 km of rigorous testing before its debut in Nepal.
The launch ceremony was graced by prominent figures from Foton International and MAW Vriddhi including Mr. Vivek Sikaria, Managing Director of MAW Vriddhi; Mr. Eric Wang, General Manager for South Asia, Foton International; Mr. Li Zuocheng, PR Director of Beiqi Foton; Ms. Emily Ding, Senior Marketing Manager; and Mr. Tushar Gupta, CEO of MAW Vriddhi Commercial.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Sikaria stated, “Despite the odds in Nepal, we trusted Foton — and that trust has paid off. In the past 5 to 6 years, we’ve sold over 1,500 Foton vehicles, including more than 500 pickups.” Emphasizing value and support, he added, “We’ve ensured comprehensive after-sales service and spare parts availability. Compared to others, the G7’s maintenance cost is 20% lower.”
The event also featured key handovers to early customers who had pre-booked the vehicle, marking the beginning of a new journey for many.
