Kathmandu/  Global mobility and urban services platform inDrive has rolled out a new community initiative, 'Ride to Support', in Nepal. The month-long campaign, running throughout May, is dedicated to enhancing sports infrastructure in local primary schools by contributing a portion of ride fares toward playground renovation and sports kits.

Under this initiative, 10% of every third ride's fare will be directed toward improving school playgrounds and supplying equipment for basketball, badminton, and futsal. The campaign seeks to create safe, accessible, and inspiring spaces for children to engage in physical activity and sports.

“We believe that by mobilizing our community through purpose-driven initiatives like ‘Ride to Support,’ we can amplify our impact and inspire others to join us in building a more equitable society,” said Ms. Pavit Nanda Anand, APAC Communication Lead at inDrive. “Every ride taken this May is more than a trip—it’s a meaningful step toward empowering children and transforming their everyday environment.”

The funds collected during the campaign will be used to renovate existing playgrounds and provide quality sports kits, enabling schools to offer improved extracurricular opportunities. The initiative is closely aligned with inDrive’s broader mission to challenge social injustice and support equal opportunities for underserved communities.

With this campaign, inDrive reiterates its commitment to social responsibility and calls on its riders to take part in a movement that directly benefits the future generation of Nepal.
