He emphasized the Jewish people's deep-rooted connection to their ancestral homeland, referencing historical documents like the Balfour Declaration and the San Remo Resolution to affirm Israel’s legitimacy.

The Ambassador paid tribute to Israeli soldiers and victims of terrorism, referencing the October 7, 2023 tragedy as a stark reminder of ongoing threats and the nation’s unwavering resolve for peace and security.

Ambassador Bass praised Israel's transformation into a technologically advanced and democratic society. He expressed gratitude for Nepal's longstanding friendship since 1960 and highlighted strong bilateral cooperation, particularly in agriculture, education, and development. Over 4,000 Nepali students have received training in Israel, supported by programs like Mashav and partnerships with organizations such as Sana Kisan.

Looking ahead, he expressed eagerness to expand collaboration into fields like IT and cyber technology, while appreciating Nepal’s cultural richness. He reaffirmed Israel’s solidarity with Nepal, including support for victims of terrorism.
