    In a remarkable display of unity, enthusiasm, and athletic talent, the D.A.V. Toastmasters Club and Tokha Toastmasters Club jointly hosted the highly successful Toastmasters Futsal Tournament 2025 on 10th May at the DAV College Futsal Ground.

    Organized in collaboration with Lugaz Clothing, Skill Square, Trip Himalayan Tours and Travels, Lahana Lunchbox, and Shree Tara Foods with strong support from DAV Sports and Event Club and DAV Media and Promotion Club the tournament brought together eight spirited teams from Toastmasters clubs across Nepal.

    The atmosphere was electric as members and supporters gathered to witness a full day of thrilling matches, showcasing not only impressive football skills but also the camaraderie and leadership values that define the Toastmasters community.

    Team Ruslan from Jawalakhel Orators Toastmasters Club triumphed in a gripping final match, claiming the championship title with poise and determination. Team Agni Scorpion of Agni Toastmasters Club gave an admirable performance, finishing as the well-deserved first runner-up.

    The closing ceremony was a vibrant celebration, honoring the players’ dedication and spirit. Both finalist teams were awarded trophies, medals, and certificates, while individual excellence was recognized through special trophy and awards presented by Lugaz Clothing and Trip Himalayan Tours and Travels. Mr. Pratham Shrestha of Team Ruslan was named the Most Valuable Male Player, while his teammate, Ms. Ojashwi Timilsina, earned the title of Most Valuable Female Player. Mr. Shree Datta Paneru, also from Team Ruslan, was recognized as the Best Goalkeeper for his stellar defense throughout the tournament. Meanwhile, Mr. Nabadip Khatri of Team Kathmandu Knights took home the award for Highest Scorer, showcasing exceptional attacking skill.

    The awards were presented by distinguished guests: Mr. Madhav Adhikari, Coordinator at DAV College; Mr. Nirajan Shrestha, Division B Director; and Mr. Niraj Pradhan, Managing Director of Skill Square, who each contributed to making the moment special with their presence and encouraging words.

    The tournament left a lasting impression, not just as a competitive event but as a celebration of friendship, teamwork, and the growing vibrancy of the Toastmasters movement in Nepal. With an overwhelmingly positive response from participants and spectators alike, the 2025 edition set a new benchmark and is poised to become a much-anticipated annual tradition.
